My Lavendar Love heart necklace features a lovely lavendar sea glass gem found by me along the Atlantic coast of New York set in a brilliant fine silver irregular heart with a vine bail.  The front pattern is floral with a small butterfly adorning the top and the back has peacock paisley pattern. Lavendar sea glass predates WWI when manganese was used in the process to create clear glass.  Due to the presence of manganese and UV exposure from sunlight the glass starts to turn lavendar after 75 years and will often continue to turn a darker hue with continued exposure to UV.
