This brilliant blue sea glass nugget was turbulently tossed by the Bering Sea and perfectly frosted. It has been drilled and adorned with a fine silver bail with an embossed pattern that allows slight movement to add to its eye-catching appeal.  The pendant hangs approximately 1 1/4 inches from a 19-inch leather cord.  This is part of a small collection of rare sea glass that I was very fortunate to acquire from a friend and fellow artist whose beloved brother was a gold miner in Gnome, Alaska.  As he dredged up the Bering Sea, seeking gold, sea glass was also found in many rare colors and shapes, proving that the sea is full of treasures.
